The Charmilles des Cordeliers are a historic property dating from the late sixteenth century.
It was a convent intended to accommodate the congregation of the Cordeliers accompanying the princes of Gondi. The latter, close to Catherine de Medicis, had built a Renaissance style castle whose location adjoined the convent.
With its beautiful terraced gardens, its exquisite interiors it is an ideal refuge in all seasons.
